About Kip Pascal (Qualifications)

I started magic in 1967 -- and have been practicing every since ...
Boy, was my magic amateurish back then. I have come a long way; it was magic from a seven year old's perspective. By the time I was 14 yrs. old, I was teaching magic for the Eugene Parks and Recreation Department. When I was 17, my family and I opened Eugene's first magic shop. Some very notable names in magic frequented that shop on a regular basis -- Jerry Andrus, Dave Harkey, Ray Hyman, Steve Dobson, Doug Wicks -- to name a few. I earned my way through college by performing magic, running the magic shop, and teaching magic. In the 1990s, I incorporated magic into my high school teaching, and also taught the occasional magic class through a library on the Oregon Coast. And Into the 21st Century
Now, I write full time -- both magic and martial arts. Lee Asher and I have cowritten numerous articles for such prestigious magic magazines as The Magic Circular and Channel One. I also help Lee with most of his magic projects. Past projects include -- Catch 33, Diving Board Double, Three Stylin, Asher Twist, and more. And of course, Lee Asher was of great help with my magic book, Coin Snatching: The Reputation Builder. Lee took the photos, designed the cover, and was one of the editors. He even contributed a variation on the Coin Switch. On my own, I also run several magic web sites besides Learn-Free-Coin-Magic-Tricks.com, including CoinSnatching.com and MagicMentor.com. Whether foreign languages, Bruce Lee's style of martial arts, or magic, I have always been devoted to making the learning process easier. I give my readers an edge ... an advantage. It's important to me that you learn some baffling coin tricks.Kip
